Hi Everyone,

I am Amit Srivastava. A mining engineer by education. But I decided not to pursue mining and have been trying to strike gold ever since (I guess it is a never ending process!). For over a decade, I have been with the IT industry. And I am currently working with a company that helps people make the right investment choices by using sophisticated algorithms ( let me tell you that those are backed by humans!)

Like most of us, I have made several investment mistakes. As I continue to make mistakes, I am also keen to learn and course-correct myself. I came to know Vipin through some super quick support email exchanges when I was moving regular plans of my mutual fund investments to direct plans through Unovest. And there was no looking back from there!

I believe that most of our money mistakes are due to psychological biases (and lack of action at times) than knowledge. Through Money Master, I am looking to counter those biases, gain lots of relevant knowledge, and put a structure and plan in my mind that I can work against.

And I am looking to make new friends, of course!

Oh! I forgot to talk about my interests. I read a lot, mostly non-fiction and sometimes fiction as well. My interest areas include cosmology, science, psychology and spirituality. I am very interested in exploring the universe at the intersection of science and spirituality. And like many others, I love to travel.
